Broadway and the Quarantine

Welcome back blog! Did ya miss me? Of course you didn't. You've been watching musicals like I have right? Wrong. Welcome to 2020, the year of the Corona virus, aka the year that Broadway shut down (at least to us theater goers). Unless you have truly been living off the grid, everyone knows about how the country has shut down as we try to overcome the virus. Unfortunately, this means that we can no longer see any of the shows we want to see. I haven't seen anything since last January's Come From Away , but believe me, I wish I did while I had the chance. We are all adjusting during this time. For example, I had to adjust to working from home and keeping myself entertained, including picking up new and old hobbies. Until recently, there weren't very many ways to watch musicals without going onto some unusual (potentially shady) sites. Luckily, Netflix has given us Shrek the Musical and Newsies, while Youtube gave us Legally Blonde and Cats  (the stage musical, not ...
